Kathryn George

Mission Chair

Class of 2020

Kathryn started attending CPC in 2002 with the Weekend of Music event and eventually united with the congregation in 2005. She sings in chancel choir, and serves as the chair of the mission committee, and looks forward to being able to participate in a mission trip.

Kathryn has two brothers and a sister. Her sister lives in Disputanta and is also a member of Chester Presbyterian Church. She is single and includes her Golden Retriever and feisty cat as family.

Working 40 years for Allied/Honeywell in the environmental department, Kathryn’s responsibilities were pollution prevention, control and compliance for all environmental aspects. Although she had an inside office, she spent a lot of time in her outside office where there were many wild critters to be encountered and admired! You name, she saw it!

Kathryn enjoys working with her dogs and playing with them when camping and hunting. She loves to be in, or on the water (with her dog, if possible). Singing is Kathryn’s best talent and she says CPC has given her some wonderful opportunities and memories through song. She will tell you that if you ask her sister, she will tell you Kathryn's best “talent” is being in trouble!
